There are two planning options to this program:

Language Arts and Math: This plan covers Reading, Spelling, Grammar, Writing, and Mathematics, and requires one hour of instruction per week.

All Subject Areas: This plan includes Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, PE, and an elective. It requires two hour per week of instruction.

Both plans include grading, record keeping, and quarterly progress reports.

Educational Materials:

Resource Library: Choose textbooks for your child from our extensive curriculum library. You will find books in all subjects and grade levels through High School. We carry both Christian and secular publishers and many have the teacher edition as well.

Supplemental Library: Our collection features exciting kits in many subject areas including math manipulatives, science kits, and art kits. Most contain all the necessary tools you need with detailed teacher guides for meaningful student activities.

Assessments and Goal Setting:

It is strongly recommended that we begin with an academic assessment to determine proficiency and needs in Language Arts and Math. With detailed information about your child’s academic needs, we can set goals for the year and choose appropriate textbooks and/or supplemental material.

Alternatives to Traditional Education:

Homeschooling does not have to look like public school at home. Your child’s program can be based instead on Topics and Projects. This holistic education option is for divergent thinkers with entrepreneurial tendencies. It is a multi-sensory, integrated approach that encourages and challenges children who learn in different ways. Students choose topics that they would like to learn about, and then complete meaningful projects in all curriculum areas. This is a great option for enthusiastic, self-starters.
